they are hard case fishes die quickly and they r waste of money
What do you think? Answer below!
Really they are easy to maintain, for sure. Some people think that you clean weekly. NO NO NO
I have had tanks five, for about 4-5 yrs now. YOu load them up, gradually with 1 inch of fish per gallon.
You can feed them every two days, you can change the water only once a month and that is good. YOu see algae that will build in tank is natural, in the ocean they have algae and it is good.
Really a tank is easy to maintain, but do not buy expensive fish for a yr or so, get to know how to take care of guppies, inexpensive fish first.
To me a tropical aquarum is one of the easier aquariums to start with. Go for a larger tank such as a 20 or 29 gallon if you can, the larger the tank is the easier it will be to maintain water chemistry. Make sure you do lots of research on how to properly care for your new aquarium, there will be alot of things you don’t even think about that requires your attention. Tropical tanks are alot of fun becasue you can mix species of fish as long as they get along, resulting in a bright and fun tank! Aquariums are not extrememly difficult to maintain as long as you do everything properly. They require vacuuming about once a month, water changes, filter care and feeding of course! Different people will give you different answers as to how often you should change the water or vacuum your tank, it really all depends on how many fish you have, how much you feed them and you! After caring for the tank for awhile you will easily fall into a pattern that suits you best. Fish tanks are enjoyable and rather easy to maintain if the effort is put in. I hope you enjoy your new tank!!
The difficulty to keep a freshwater tropical tank depends on how big it is, what you stock it with, and whether or not you have it planted with live plants.
Normally, if you stock the tank up to the max, it will require more frequent water changes/gravel vacs to prevent the waste from building up, leading to algae issues.
If you plant the tank, usually that will help with nitrates/fish waste, but plants themselves require specific lighting and water additives/minerals. However, adding live plants means they sometimes come with annoying aquarium pests like pond snails.
If you under stock the tank, provide ample filtration/aeration, and routinely maintain the tank via water changes, equipment maintenance, etc., then freshwater tropical tanks are not hard to maintain.
Typically, the hardest part of setting up a fish tank is cycling the tank. Aside from that, routine maintenance and upkeep usually provide a healthy tank environment that is easy to keep.
Easy once you know what you are doing. Make sure you do lots of research.
very easy…..i feed 2X a day…and once a week change 10% of the water…..and every 2 weeks change the cartage in one the filters…..and once a month i clean some of the gravel and test to make sure the water it ok and the nitrates are low…..
ive read about this.. and the only obstacle i see.. would be getting all the equipment together.. and basically… knowing what temperature is safe for the fish.. and so forth
but im sure if u put your mind towards building a tank.. it shouldnt be hard..
just read up on the details..
it requires a filter.. heater (some come in sets).. some plants..
fish food.. ph balance stuff.. light.. (you also gotta cycle the water)
rem to let good bacteria grow for a while before u put the fish in..
maybe two weeks..
um.. and basically just contact your local fish store and also read up on it.. there are fish forums.. for people who are new to tropical fish as a hobby.. i visited the website its pretty good
