I have a 10 gallon tropical fish tank.
Fish that I already have include: 3 Zebra Danios, 1 Bloodfin Tetra
Zebra Danios like to swim at the top of the tank and the Bloodfin will usually stay in the middle.
I am looking to buy a tropical fish that will stay at the bottom of the tank.
Please Help Me!

catfish stay at the bottom and they eat the feces of other fish

just kind of looking for some suggestions for proper cleaning tools and foods and a good beginner tropical fish. i’ve had cheap fish before, just looking for something a little more exotic.

“White Cloud Mountain minnows are considered good fish for beginners, as they are extremely forgiving with regard to aquarium temperature or water quality, and make an ideal “starter fish” for cycling a new aquarium. They are schooling fish, and feel most comfortable in a shoal of at least five minnows. An individual one of these minnows kept alone may become timid and lose its bright color. Generally, White Cloud Mountain Minnows are peaceful and happy to coexist with other fish, as long as they are not put in a tank with larger fish that may eat them. The minnows are usually top or middle-level swimmers and rarely swim close to the bottom of a tank.
Healthy Mountain Minnows will display to each other While normal temperature range of the species in the wild is 18–26 °C (64–72 °F), it can survive water temperatures down to 5°C (41°F); this makes it an ideal fish for keeping in an unheated aquarium in cold climates.”
I just use TetraMin Tropical Crisps for food. Self siphoning gavel vacuum and glass & acrylic safe scrubbing sponge for cleaning.

I have a male betta and a goldfish in a ten gallon tank. my tank came with 2 yellow lights, but it makes the tank look dirty. i was planning to change the lights to red and blue. would the fish mind? The goldfish and betta get along, and i need some more fish to be with them. i dont like ugly ones like ghost shrimp and catfish. can angel fish be with them?

id really like to have a tank with mollies guppies and platies
ive had them before and i read up on care guidelines but they always seem to die
i dont know if it was what i did or where i got the fish from
i had a 10 gallon tank with only 2 mollies
it had a filter and a bubbler
i kept the temperature at about 70-80 with the heater
and i got special food for tropical fish
i dont know what went wrong but id really like to try again
your advice is apreciated

I have just got a 11 gallon fish tank and would like to tropical fish, but know nothing about them. I have tried looking at web sites but htey are in gobbleld-de-goup. Going on about not using tap water, adding salt and chemicals, species you can and cant keep together, etc. can some one give me an easy basic guide as to how i can get started and maybe a little list of fish i can put together. Stay with fresh water fish, get a hearty species like goldfish, mollies etc, then as you get more knowledge, you can buy more exotic fish, you might lose a few, but that’s how you learn anything, by doing.
